We are a little more than a week away from leaving and I can't hardly wait. The Yucatan is a place that is extremely special to me and every time I go I find that the culture's grip upon me has grown tighter and tighter. My wife and I often talk about someday moving there but that dream is probably unrealistic and I'll more than likely have to be happy with visiting every year or so.
I'm happy about the group of students that will be going on this trip. Every one of them appears to be trustworthy, responsible and (most importantly) fun. I know much has been sacrificed to go on this trip by both parents and students so Jen and I are going to do our best to make this trip well worth the work.
